    Responsible for managing four departments in Seton Medical Center in Daly City and two departments in Seton Coastside situated in Moss Beach, CA.
    • Appointed as Hazmat Coordinator for Seton Medical Center.
    • Manage and track departments’ budgets for both labor and supplies with an annual target of achieving +/- 2% vs. actual
    budget.
    • Lead these departments in compliance to TJC, OBRA, CMS, DPH, and Title 22, which include Environment of Care &
    Safety, HIPAA, Hazardous Material Handling and Waste Management.
    • On my first year at Seaton Medical Center, I received an approval rating of 90% by the EVS staff.
    • By motivating the EVS staff and collaboration with various departments, HCAHPS score for “Cleanliness of
    Hospital Environment” increased from 56 into 80 in just three years.
    • All departments under my direct supervision passed The Joint Commission inspection three times during
    the course of five years without a single citation or Recommendation For Improvement (RFI).

    • Conduct trainings, classes and monitor all Continuous Quality Improvement data for six skilled nursing facilities and two long- term care facilities all in the East Bay area.
    • Prepare all monthly, quarterly and annual CQI reports to corporate office.

  • Environmental Services Manager (Housekeeping)Kaiser Permanente Medical Center SF

    • Responsible for managing more than two hundred employees, overseeing sixteen buildings of Kaiser Permanente in San
    Francisco vicinity with a total of 2.8 million square feet of cleanable space.
    • Managed the department’s annual budget of $12.8 million for both labor and consumables. Promotes an open relationship with
    all company-approved vendors.
    • Introduced to the Medical Center the usage of microfiber mop heads and rugs which resulted to 80% reducement in back
    injuries of the my staff and another 50% reducement in the slips and falls accidents through out the Medical Center. This
    initiative and great work practice was eventually rolled out to all sixty (60) Kaiser Foundation Hospitals and MOB.
    • Lead these departments in compliance to TJC, CMS, DPH, Title 22, which includes Environment of Care & Safety, HIPAA,
    Hazardous Material Handling and Waste Management, just to name a few.

    • Approves bi-weekly schedule, vacations, medical leaves, LOAs. Conduct disciplinary actions as needed and in compliance of existing Labor Bargaining Agreement.
    • While in Kaiser Permanente, I achieved an approval rating of 96% from my own staff, for four years in a row.
    • Under my direct supervision, we passed two Joint Commission (TJC) and one CMS inspections without any RFI.
