Global O/H FET sits at the epicentre of Unilever’s Digital Finance journey, pioneering one of the biggest finance transformations in Unilever’s recent history. The team operates in the Enterprise Technology Solutions (ETS) unit of Unilever, which champions “Better for Less through Data, Technology and Service”. ETS prides itself in innovation and operational excellence, and with the OH FET, it marks its first foray from finance services to performance management.


Global O/H FET is leading the Digital agenda through technological and business process re-engineering in the space of overheads. It aims to streamline E2E overheads management by radically upscaling visibility and optionality for divisions & markets. The team aims to drive efficiencies in the €6 Bn Overheads Costs of Unilever by centralizing governance processes & standardising operations to enable better and faster decision making for Unilever – at the right level.

Main purpose of job:

As the key partner for Divisions, Global Cost Controllers and Clusters the Global O/H FET Finance Manager will be the Centre of Excellence for all matters relating to Overheads spend. This role offers exposure to not just Finance teams but also cross functional teams across global and local organizations.  This role also offers a unique opportunity to understand and drive thought leadership around the implementation of Financial Information Modules, Future Technology Landscape for Finance Support systems and Future design of Finance Organization.


The role includes partnering with senior stake holders of the Divisions/ Clusters at Unilever. The successful candidate will drive new insights into key financial and operational performance levers and become a trusted leader within the organization.


The ideal candidate should have 7 years of experience in Business Partnering or Cost Control with a good understanding of financial planning and overheads management.

+Key accountabilities:
  1. Drive process and technology transition in overheads management.
  2. Lead smooth implementation of new Hyperion and Central Finance S4 Hana tools with business teams.
  3. Partner with the business finance leaders in Global Divisions and Clusters to drive Overheads planning and forecasting process.
  4. Governance and management of all dependent processes enabling O/H management- master data, actuals, budgeting & forecasting and analytics.
  5. Driving proactive Gap Management via facilitating review and analysis of annual/ monthly plans, variances and reports with Global Division & Cluster leads
  6. Ad-hoc analysis and requests from from the Division/ Cluster Leads to support decision making.
  7. Act as a link between the O/H FET, ETS Organization, Global Divisions and Clusters facilitating flow of information and enabling reviews focussed on business priorities.
Experience and qualification required:
  1. CA / MBA with 7+ years of experience in Business Partnering/ Cost Control
  2. Strong knowledge of key financial planning processes
  3. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
